  • The Fiat 128 was one of the worst cars ever to ply the American roads. I should know, I bought one brand spanking new in 1974. The disintegrating brakes, steering sysmter shot, premature engine wearing out, premaure timing belts breaking, oil leaks, oil burning and other things too numerious to mention. After two years I junked it. My conscience wouldn't let me sell it to another fool. I replaced it with a five year old, 100,000 mile VW Bug. Fix It Again Tony didn't fix me ever again.

  • iam with u but this from 37 years and ever thing change, and iam mechanical engneering and i see that fiat 128 in his time from 37 years,it was good, not perfect but good and more useful form anther cars in this time, thx for ur comment

  • there's a lot of difference btw zastava 128 and fiat 128.... first when i drove fiat 128, I would almost cry of the engine smoothness and amazing throttle response!!!!!

  • do you guys have any complain about this? because imma get this soon..i hope it didn't give me headache..but i love this car and the way it have been modified as a lowrider car..

  • My mom and dad had a 1976 Fiat 128.....it was pretty decent, One problem was when the fuse for the windshield wipers blew in the middle of a heavy rainstorm. Other than that I don't remember any trouble..... Then they "up-graded" to a Fiat 131....what a disaster that car was.

  • they were good cars, but couldnt take "beating", like wild driving. my parents had a Zastava 101 (same as fiat 128) , and mom had a Yugo later. we never had any issues, one just had to take it easy with them. as for being bad - i see them almost every day, still rolling on our streets, 99% of them 20+ years. and that's for a licenced vehicle of the same mark... not THAT bad i guess, at least for our local standards...

  • @KISHOXX It was a good car when it ran, which unfortunately was not very often. I should add, it was extremely difficult to start in sub-zero F. temperatures. Sometimes, I had to push start it. We can only hope the current crop of Fiats which will be sold through Chrysler dealerships will be more reliable.

  • very good video, as the song is called?
