  • Hi Dave,

Very good For My taste, usually when i study it, i play some notes a very little more longer (i'm using the socres found onthe pipesanddrums site) and in the david glen's setting) buth however for my taste it's very good.

    regards, Diego

  • Grazie bene, Diego. I appreciate your comments. Don't you find it fascinating that you, an Italian, an me, an Eglish-South African living in America have a common interest in Scottish Classical Music and instrument? I played ina tattoo in SA many years ago with Italian regiment, the Bersaglieri? Do you know them? On the last night of the show the pipe band RAN onto the parade playing their regimental tune and they marched playing one of our SA tunes! Ciao! Dave

  • Nice job Dave,

Just two questions. Why play the the B in the variations when most players accept the Piobaireachd Society variations today? Why no A Mach? I know John MacFadyen would not play A Mach in The King Taxes.

    Thanks,

    Donald K. Ross

  • Thank you for this video! It opent an eye on the Crunluath variation to me. (I learned to close the piece between the A and D part) Thanks you for that!

But was the Urluar a little bit fast?

Good luck to you, I Like it

    Chears Bartje.
