Everythings settling down well, just put a 10" plec in there now who's home seems to be the large cave...clown loach evicted! The bands around a couple of the rocks is holding new java moss in place until its attached itself. Got a wave maker going in on sunday, on the left hand side of the tank...that should please the loach!

  • Wow. very nice tank. I love the cave setup in your tank. Any advice for my tank? I am looking for some rocks to make hiding place for my fish. 5 Stars!

  • I would just suggest do what i did and do a bit of research on various styles of aquascaping and have a look at some aquascaping competitions vids, that way you can get rough ideas of how you want your aquarium to look.

  • Hey drjuesd, nice tank mate! Is that plant growth I see on top of the rocks on the right side of the tank? If so, how did you accomplish that? Your tank is what I want mine to eventually look like. Thanks.

  • cheers 4 the comment. It's Java moss on the rocks held on with hair nets until it gripped the rocks. If you do it, make sure that the net's pulled tight and fastened so nothing can get under it...my bristlenose got under it and i had a right mare trying to get him out!

  • it's a pity you had to rid of the angels, but the tank still looks fantastic! i love it :) the added plants look very nice. the clowns certainly are growing! oh, and in reply to your other vid, i think the 4f air curtain is a brill idea. i'd be interested to know how the plants go with it. just a quick question; do the clowns and algae eater fight over territory? and the same with the rams? i look forward to seeing more vids :) keep it up!

  • Cheers! The large leaf plants are growing well, except the other plants and £30 worth of red leaf plants just got absolutely destroyed! Now that the cichilids (rams, humpheads..etc) are bigger, everyday i came home from work there was an amazon forest floating at the top of my tank where they'd ripped them out! Lol. The algae eater and clowns are like best buds, they are usually always together. The only territorial ram is the male golden. The others don't generally bother the others.

  • Holy smokes! That is a gorgeous tank. The community overall has just a wide range of beautiful and exotic colors. How big is the tank? Im rather a bit jealous now. I wish I had such a magnificent tank. I would someday like to run something of this magnitude and beauty. 5 stars hands down.
