An interesting point from the Europe perspective is that should Syria end up like Libya there will be support form European nationalists for the Libyans and Syrians. It will not be easy for the one-party liberal Western states to paint the resistance as 'terrorist' when they have a lot of native support on alternative media.

It is true that, as US and its NATO allies is working on or have overthrown government after government starting with the Soviet Union, then a number of former Soviet states, Somalia, Iraq, Afghanistan, possibly Pakistan, Libya, Yemen, Syria....... they are galvanizing a growing number of people throughout the world in every nation against them.
