  • Yeah Republicans are really for vets, that's why they are always cutting their veterans benefits.

  • It's interesting that they mention that Obama missed 45% of the votes. That is in fact true... he missed those votes during the 110th Congress because he was campaigning. MCCAIN MISSED 65% OF THE VOTES DURING THE SAME TIME PERIOD!!! MCCAIN WAS THE MOST ABSENT SENATOR!!! More Republican Ridiculousness!

  • Dude, been there done that... or did you miss the "I'm a vet" too part of it? And you make a competitive salary when you filter in benefits and leave... not $1000, but avg e-3 makes about 1600$/mo

  • Handouts!?!? UMMMM no. That's called COMPENSATION. The loans, tuitions, etc. are what the gov't at the very least owes to a veteran for devoting their entire enlistment period, and sometimes lives to their country. . If your employer told you tomorrow that you'd only make 1000 a month, work 18 hrs almost daily some longer, train like a pro athlete, sleep in the mud, and could be killed or maimed, those handouts wouldn't seem to be so handed out now would they? Don't equate vets w/ the lazies

  • both of yous are liars. VFF was created by 5 returning veterans to advocate on the behalf of veterans and issues that affect them. It isn't tied to any political party because veterans aren't homogenous in affiliation. All walks of life join the military, well actually i should say most because anti-patriots who aren't selfless enough to serve don't enlist, making the advocate group an independently run organization without party talking points.

  • I hate destructive methods of the american political machine. I'm glad here it's still outlawed to publicize a party by trying to cover the other with shit.

A party hsould win cause it's better, not because the other one is bad.

  • I have worked hard in my life as well. I have accomplished a lot, I work hard, and I am not much older than you (6 years). I have no expectation or desire for a handout, and I support Barack Obama. In fact, there is an established correlation between education level (which corresponds with material success) and support for Obama. The more you know, the more likely you are to support Obama. So how can we be idiots, if we know more? How can we want a hand out, if we make more?

  • yes, a university professor, with degress from the best universities in the USA, from a single mother family, who fought his way in politics and with original charisma and vision for the USA and the world is a "worthless piece of crap"... I wonder who are to judge him... let me guess a redneck rascist fundamentalist who owns more than 3 guns ;) and who can't point Europe on a map!!

    congratulations

  • yeap it's the same guys who in the previous election launched a smearing campaign to present Kerry (A REAL WAR HERO) as a traitor!!!! classical republican tactics!! well, if the voter are stupid enough to buy all that... congratulations ;)
