@jackster11997 nope the one in this video is the one that got its tracks blown off.. there were 3 tigers made for spr.. the one in this vid was for close ups, the other was to make it seem like a 2nd tiger, an the 3rd that was blown up is in duxford

I knew this was fake in the film and it was a massive disapointment when i saw it was on T 34 running gear and it did ruin the film! As a kid i watched Kellys Hero's over and over again for the Tiger tanks outside the bank but there also Tiger T 34 miss fucks, is this film spoiling piece of shit one of those?

@LaughingGravy31 A few ss divivsions i can remember that were in the British sector or took part in attacking the British after the landings were the 9th SS-Panzerdivision the 10th SS-Panzerdivision and the 1st SS-Panzerdivision Leibstandarte the 12th SS Panzer Division the 17th SS Panzergrenadier Division and the Panzer Lehr Division of which all i think had seen combat before. The British contribution in the normandy landings and the break out of normandy is often overlooked.

@aguyfromsweden I agree with you, the Americans never came up against Tiger tanks for the first weeks in Normandy!

Ive seen the Tiger at Bovington when i was a kid and i think the British captured it in Tunisia. Ive got my fingers crossed some Russian peasents find a Tiger in a bog or river!

@chainedtoaradiator I agree with you to, because I am a hardcore tank lover. But there is only one driveable Tiger 1 tank in the world and it can be found in Bovington tank museum, UK. But in Saving private ryan they could have used an panzer IV insted of an T-34 mock-up tiger, because a panzer IV is a little more avalible
