Instructional video on how to put photos, images or pictures and music, audio or songs onto your Nintendo Wii.

If you've upgraded to Photo Channel 1.1 you now need to use the AAC encoder and NOT the MP3 encoder.

I am using an Apple Mac to make the process easier. If you use a Windows PC the process will be very similar. Pictures might be a bit harder but audio is the exact same.

Conversion and transfer process for taking photos, images or pictures and music, audio or songs from your Mac/PC computer to your Nintendo Wii console. You will need some JPEG photos or images, music from a CD, iTunes, an SD Card, a Mac or PC and your Wii.

Conversion and transfer process for videos and movies is coming soon!

Software Used:
Wii Update (Full Internet Version)
iPhoto 6.0.6
iTunes 7.1.1
Mac OS X 10.4.9 (PowerPC)

iTunes is available for free at:
www.apple.com/itunes/download

Music: "Breathless" by The Corrs

  • how do u put the SD card in your computer

  • Insert the card into a card reader or other device that is connected to your computer that can read SD cards.

  • You cannot import songs into games.

  • Correct me if I'm wrong, but is this 10 minute video basically say "put mp3s on an SD card and put in Wii"

    ?

  • Heh, yes indeed! lol

  • but that dosen't work for me, when i put a mp3 on my sd card, it dosen't show up in the channel

  • You probably have the new Photo Channel. It will say v. 1.1 (or somthing like that in the upper left of the screen before you start the channel) Try AAC encoding instead of MP3. The old Photo Channel used MP3 format while the new one uses AAC format.
