First episode in a new series of vids showing how to paint your rank and file troops to a reasonable table top standard.

this was the official colour when I made the video. GW changed to flesh colour with the new releases. In the army book they've kept a few demo photos in the old colour. Personally I prefer the new :)

Aimed mainly at people new to the hobby or at those who want tips of how to paint quickly to a decent standard.

Definately not for the seasoned pro!

Hope these are useful to some.

  • @TheNaboo92 Hi there, this was the official colour when I made the video. GW changed to flesh colour with the new releases. In the army book they've kept a few demo photos in the old colour. Personally I prefer the new :)

  • @WargamingForFun so what do use at this point in time ?? (sorry for all the questions just staring dwarfs and ogres:) )

  • @TheNaboo92 If I'm using GW citadel paints I often use the foundation tallarn flesh to get a good hold, followed by dwarf flesh to give it the 'pinky' skin tone. (You may get away with two coats of dwarf flesh but I find that it doesn't cover so well on the initial coat as tallarn.) For the wash I use Ogryn flesh which gives good muscle definition.

  • @TheNaboo92 I would judge and guess from the video that vomit brown MIGHT be a close substitute. BUt dont know for sure

  • Do you thin your paunts? - If so how much? The help would be great as I'm building up my army. ;)

  • epic paint system will u message me the exacting scheme for my new ogre army list asap ps u r awsome

  • you doubt urself to much u r an awsome painter!

  • @thehornetlord Yeah, It's cleared up, hehe.

  • @pinglauwa no theyre not gamesworkshop colours the colour is just called black which in spanish is negro and if you look at the paint called elfic flesh you will see the words Came elfica above it which is literally "elf meat" in spanish the paints show both the english and spanish names hope that clears up what I meant

  • @thehornetlord I don't undertsnad what you mean. Chaos Black is called "Negro Black" in Spanish? And so is Elf skin? But if it's translated why does it still hold the Spanish name? It should be called Chaos Black if it's translated.

  • @pinglauwa i thought that too at frst but its actually a translation from spanish to english you see the same thing on the elf skin bottle

  • Rofl, commented before I saw the entire video. Negro black paint? LOL.

  • @WargamingForFun Aw come on, you the old skin is way cooler. They sort of gave me this "cold" feeling. Like their supposed to. Their from the north after all.
