http://www.PondMegastore.com :Bill Bancroft explains the fertilizing cycle of lotus after planting. Beginning after they have begun to grow in a container or pond and fertilizing every 21 days after the plants have arial leaves. Use a good fertilizer and once a year something with micronutrients and iron. Lotus can thrive in anything from something larger than a sugarbowl for teacup lotus to 6 foot tall giants in natural bottom ponds. Flowers can be the size of a piece of candy or more than a foot across.
