Think I am missing the point here. Would you body weight not just push the M.L spring back, thus everytime you pedal you have to pedal against your weight to put the link back into the 'uphill' position? If so this would happen everytime you slacken of the pedals. sounds like a lot of wasted energy. Who has one of there bikes? Does it work that way?

first of all, I don't know what you're talking about. My kona is a sick bike. It's 35 pounds and it still climbs fine. IDK about the magic link but it seems like a great idea from an engineering standpoint and performance standpoint. Second of all, i think what liuwenjie6678 was talking about kona being more famous, is that konas are more famous and more trusted than giant on the freeride scene especially on the north shore.

though giant is not that famous as kona do,but most of the guys saled their kona with magic link,and kept the reign or glory in store here in japan...what can i say...yeah,i don see how it works as well...sorry!!kona,pleeeez,don t cheat us anymore!...

i don't understand, first of all giant makes more money anually from bike sales than kona making it more "famous" next the giant glory and the giant reign don't even use the same suspension system as the kona coilar.

jesus,i cant believe theres still guys like that who stick with kona...i dont understand what konas engineers thinking each day...that standard four link and single pivot system just sooooo retard,acutually kona got no idea on suspension designation,also this MAGIC LINK,lol!what is that?it has been proved that it doesnt work that fantasicly as double pivot....
