An excellent documentary on the classic four series of Blackadder, with interviews and behind-the-scenes trivia from the cast, crew, celebrity fans and real life Blackadders! Narrated by David Mitchell.

THIS DOES NOT BELONG TO ME IN ANY WAY WHATSOEVER

  • Alas, no John Cleese.

  • @wikiriwhi ???

Can't see John Cleese in Blackadder, to be honest. Pretty awesome as it is.

  • wot, no Ploppy the Jailer?

  • @scherbius I'm sure he's in the documentary somewhere, he must be.....

  • they should make another black adder movie about a war

  • @Haston1335 I think all of the cast have moved on to do other things, and besides, if the Blackadder series is so awesome and legendary, particularly this last series about the World War, and if they did it so well then, why try and recreate that again when you've already captured the magic? No need to remake it or make any more

  • This scene always makes me teary.Even though I laughed my arse off all the way through, it is this scene that represents why Goes Fourth was the standout of all the Blackadder series'. This scene from Goes Fourth shows how great comedy, pathos and a powerful social statement can combine in the most subtle of ways to send the viewer a message about the madness of war. Pure genius.

  • great ending for great series

  • I love Brian Blessed. I wish he had been in more episodes, after playing the king in the first series.

  • @scherbius he's in there, but he changed his name to Ploppy, so it might be hard to recognize him.

  • @jinofthethunder skyrim maybe.

  • I'd like it if Rowan and the rest decided to make a new series set in the Victorian times though, during the age of industry and science.

  • Close to tears as usual after the ending.

  • i hadnt heard about the ending so it hit me like a brick a few years ago when i saw it.

  • OOOhhhhh, they talk too much, they stop the scene to TAAAALLLKKKK.... live the scene to the end so we can feel it ..... idiots, big egos....

  • i dont remember this episode. were there 2 seasons of blackadder goes forth?

  • David Mitchell really was the best option for narrator in this documentary.
