It was a great trip with 2 friends to Fougamou, Gabon for the weekend. We took a Safari Taxi from Libreville, Gabon and made the 130 mile journey in only 8 hours! What a great place, what great people, what great kids!! I doubt there is many places and people left in the world that are as untouched and pure as Fougamou and its people.

Wow, have things changed. I was in Fougamou for 5 months in 1964 with the Peace Corps and it didn't look like this. Do yu have any more footage? You may check out our YouTube contributions by going to Peace Corps Gabon, there are about 8 episodes you might enjoy
