time for me to fly ch 1 part 1

It was around eight p.m., ten-year old Nick Jonas was sitting in his room; playing on his computer. Right as he clicked onto a video-link, a loud scream filled the air. Nick stood up, knocking over his chair when he did, and ran over to his door. When he opened it, a big cloud of smoke hit him

Nick: -coughs- mom? -coughs- dad?
Mrs. Jonas: -Somewhere in the house- Nick! Honey, run! Get out of the house! -Scared, Nick walked out into the smoky hallway and walked towards his parents room-
Nick: Mommy? Dad?
Mr. Jonas: -Somewhere- Run Nick! Get out of the house! -Finally Nick spotted his parents door, and he covered his mouth when he did. Huge, orangey-red flames were coming out of the cracks of the door-
Nick: Mom! Dad!
Mr. Jonas: Run Nick! Run! -Slowly, Nick backed up. As he started backing up, the fire caught onto the walls and floor. Scared, Nick turned around completely and started searching for the stairs. He stopped when he heard his mom scream in pain. Teary-eyed, Nick just sat down on the floor, covered his head, and listened to the screams of his parents-
Voice: -From downstairs- Nick!? Nick are you in here!? -Nick didnt answer, he just stayed silent. He could hear someone run up the stairs- There you are! -Suddenly Nick felt himself being picked up and carried down the stairs. After a few minutes, he felt the cool air around him-
Second Voice: Joe, is he okay?
Joe: I dont think so, I think hes in shock. Nick, Nick buddy open your eyes.
Nick: -keeps eyes tightly closed- No! No! Mom! Dad!
Joe: Nick open your eyes! -Nick kept screaming- Nick! -Nick finally opened his eyes, and when he did he saw that he was back in his new bed in the orphanage.
Joe: Nick open your eyes! -Nick kept screaming- Nick! -Nick finally opened his eyes, and when he did he saw that he was back in his new bed in the orphanage. Sweat was running down his face, and Nicks older brother Joe was sitting on the edge of the bed. Nick just looked at Joe, and then suddenly hugged him- Woah, its okay Nick. It was only a nightmare. -Nick buried his face in Joes shoulder and started crying. Just then Kev walked into the room.
Kevin: Another nightmare?
Joe: Mhm -Joe starts rubbing Nicks back-
Kevin: -sighs- thats the third time this week. -walks over to them and places his hand on the back of Nicks head- What can we do?
Joe: I dont know man, but something has to be done.
-An hour later-

Nick was walking with Joe and Kevin to school. Kevin and Joe were trying to think of something they can do to help their younger brother
