Busy Bee Bakery-Baking Portfolio

*Please Read Please*
-So like I said, most of these cakes come from my head. Some I put a little twist on to make my own. I would really appreciate it if you dont copy them. You can surely base your cake ideas of mine but wouldnt you feel better when the person asks "where did this come from!?" and you say "my imagination". The possibilities are endless. Im thinking of thanksgiving cake right now and i typed in indian and found inspiration. Its not a cake already out there, its from my head which makes it more impressive. So please, take notes of my cakes but dont take it exactly as it it :)
Im 16 and dream of owning my bakery (Busy Bee Bakery) in NY someday. I want to go to culinary school and sell everything from cookies and brownies, to french and italian pastries to novelty and wedding cakes. Here are my creations with more to come! Mostly everything here came from my head. If i saw a similar pic, i edited it or made it my own. My rule from now is: If its on google, its a no-no! everything from now on comes from my head and Im proud of it :)

thanks for all the comments, i really take them seriously :) I am trying to put another one together of my more recent stuff which thankfully is better than this one.

And for the people who say everything is from hello cupcake: 3 came from it, 1 only using the general base and doing my own thing.

I really appreciate everyone giving me advice and helping me. I youtube other peoples videos and do the same thing and now people are doing it to mine :) Hope to post the other one soon!

you're asking us not to copy but seems like that's what you've done yourself! Still takes talent and you are so young...I would buy these from your bakery

I gave credit to the ones I copied. I just see from a viewers point that it sucks when you have a great idea and someone then takes it and takes credit. I'm just encouraging other people to come up with their own ideas. Sure if someone wants to make a turkey cake they can see mine and go "Oh I want to make that!" but why would they want to make a copy? I would encourage them to find new things to do with it, make it their own. Sure I can copy from a book too but I always put my own touch on it.

the christmas ornament yes, that was so long ago I forgot about that. Thank you for reminding me. The bunny cake was just random, I mean it is pretty simple you really don't need a picture in front of you. I've gone to places and have seen them so I knew how to cut and all that.

GREAT JOB!! I really liked the Tom Turkey you did! However, if you didn't want anyone to "copy" your ideas, WHY put it on youtube???? I mean, really? They could have stayed as photos in your portfolio; now Magnolia bakery can steal your designs since you're at least 4 years away from graduating from culinary school. Keep it away from the public if you don't want ideas stolen! But, good job, none the less and impressive work.

I thought it really funny you have asked people Not to copy your cakes im sure Karen Tack and Alan Richardson authors of " hello, cupcake" would love to see your sunflower cakes, They are exactly the same!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! you can't even say you've put your own twist on them.

Very good, but I'm confused by the part at the end about how you make everything as edible as possible. Because fondant is edible o.O

I am glad you said "Most" of your pieces came from you head because I own the Hello Cupcake book also and i saw at least three from there. Everything else was pretty good.

amazing but some did look a bit messy but excellent presentation. :) but i have to break it to you that there is already a bakery called busy bee but i dont think its around any more :L sorry but great name ill have to come to new york to see your bakery wen i visit america :) (im from england!) anyway goood luck :) xxx ur amazing :)
