@Tsunki23 The Grateful Dead solved all the problems with sound in large auditoriums and sports arenas. When you go to any concert at a sports arena you got to thank the Grateful Dead and their sound crew led by Stan Owsley and Dan Healy for their pioneering work in the late 60's and early 70's.

@Tsunki23 That is the Wall of Sound. One of the crispest, clearest and loudest sound systems ever created. It didn't use monitors and all the speakers were behind the musicians so there was no crossing of the sound. They used special microphones which cancelled out any distortion. The sound could be heard clearly from a 1/4 mile and at the same time not blowing the eardrums of people standing right next to it. The Grateful Dead did more for concert sound than any other band.
