This guy has an amazing voice and it is quite big and dramatic with nice control. One of the best current tenors.

To me, Kaufmann gives a much better performance. He not only sings, but also lives his part fully. I find this voice too light and at places he is shouting. But there should be something more, voice and singing are the prerequisite, which they all should possess. And then comes that extra something that,makes the artist. This is what Kaufmann has and what I miss from this performance. It simply does not sound convincing to me.
