I hate when this happens to me..

keep in mind the energy from that impact isn't absorbed just because the bullet/slug/pellets are stopped. that energy is transfered through the body regardless of whether the round pierces it or not. meaning your still getting a broken breast bone or ribs and severe bruising, potentially even ruptured organs from the trauma. but that's what trauma plates are for.

@tractorman96 - TOO BIG OF? - DO WHAT? - HMM, OK, I'LL START OVER:
I AGREE WITH 96.
NOW, IF YOU DON'T GET IT, I'M GONNA HIT YOU WITH A VIETNAM ERA FLAK-JACKET - ROFL!

-
@tractorman96 - OK, I WON'T CUSS - BUT THAT IS WHAT MY WHOLE POST WAS ABOUT - I WAS NOT ONLY AGREEING WITH YOU, BUT ELABORATEING ABOUT JUST HOW BAD THE BLUNT FORCE TRAUMA OR TRANSFER OF THE MISSLES KINETIC ENERGY CAN BE ON THE HUMAN BODY EVEN THOUGH SAID MISSLE IS STOPPED BY THE VEST (THE ENERGY STILL GOES SOMEWHERE!) - YOU REALLY DIDN'T GET WHAT I WAS SAYING, OR THAT I WAS AGREEING WITH YOU 100%?

@jehovahuponyou trauma can be just as bad as getting hit with the bullet

The blunt force trama would break a whole lot of organs. You would probably die even though the slug did not penetrate the vest.
