Nuns at the Mankato, Minn. based Sisters of Notre Dame are an integral part of a study taking place at the University of Minnesota is helping to uncover Alzheimer's. In this partnership, researchers study nuns during their lifetime and the nuns donate their brains to science to be studied. This research could open up new possibilities in discovering the causes of Alzheimer's.

  • they are a good control group for science experiments....- dont smoke, don't drink, eat the same things etc etc ....

  • Maybe I should... they could use an atheist in there to help them have a more balanced experimental group.

  • If you can't figure it out maybe you need to be evaluated since your verbal skills; e.g auditory (listening) and visual are seriously diminished.

  • They get alzheimers just like other people and are concerned about it - just like other people.
