As the world's roads become ever more crowded, many manufacturers are looking to single and narrow track vehicles as cars of the future which will reduce congestion. This video examines Nissans tandem two-seat, half width tilting car, the Landglider, and examines all the other work being done around the world as narrow track vehicles begin to make their case. Vehicles covered include Renault Twizy Z.E., Volkswagen L1, Yamaha Tesseract, VentureOne, Peugeot Hybrid3 Evolution, Peugeot Hybrid3 Compressor, Nissan PIVO II, Lumeneo Smera, Tilting Car Project, Sidam XNovo, Piaggio MP3 HyS, Xingyue, Auto Moto, Adiva Moose, Adiva 3Route, BMW C3 Electric, Tango, and the reasons behind global traffic congestion

  • It is seldom that one stumbles across such a good and well-structured presentation.

  • @MrDadydad

People are funny. They'll move to the suburbs and then get a 9-5 job in the city and sit in traffic for an hour each way, every day!!

Most people just accept this as normal but I absolutely refuse to.

  • How amazing does that L1 look... and you just know that IF it ever goes into production it's not going to look anything like that :'(

I really hope they prove me wrong.

  • Really like the overall argument and approach here. Extremely well done.

  • Bicycles are more likely!

  • @MIGHTYcbu You're absolutely correct... it would also be less expensive. My guess would be to provide an additional exit in the event of a rollover.

  • i think GMs EN-V is cool

  • Cool

  • why did they give the Tango two doors?

one door would give less complexity, less weight and add structural strength.

  • @2:45 you are missing a couple of ,000

  • Fantastic! Just what I'm looking for!

  • But can it drift??
