  • I followed this video and it screwed up my harddrive, so now I have to reinstall windows. I recommend following a different tutorial

  • How did it mess up your hard drive exactly? (sorry for the late reply, I've been in hospital)

  • wait, is the pass word "Lord" ?? lol

  • nope...I use the password a5g6 for virtual machines.

When I used to use a program called Game Commander that maps voice commands to keyboard shortcuts while playing the game Star Trek: Bridge Commander - I use to set the voice command/self-destruct code to alpha, 5, gamma, 6.

So a5g6 is a shortened version.

  • i have ubuntu 11.04 but when installation is done, i have no "laucher" do u know whats wrong?

  • Odd...I've never ran into that problem and I used 11.04 for this video. O.o o.O

  • @LordReserei01 yea but for the 3d desktop cube i dont think it would work under vm,anyway try in knoppix to press the scroll weel and tab or shift key while something is open and hover the mouse from right to left or backwards to swich trough desktops;sabayon has the desktop cube too and more complex desktop effects but i didnt get it work neither in vm or live cd only knoppix got it work on live cd enviroment

  • Thanks for the warning although I'm probably going to try them out in VirtualBox and usually have that application muted. If I decide to triple-boot, I have my headset selected and usually off when booting or logging on. =)

  • @LordReserei01 just be carefull with those two, they play loud music at boot;))

  • @LordReserei01 I agree, they worry about unnecessary things like Cosmic Panda Visual styles instead of fixing major flaws in the system like subscription boxes and video bumping!
