Roy Jones Jr's technical skills have always been questionable. He became champion through his inhuman reflexes which have clearly dwindled through age. What weapons does he have left? None. Now that he's slowed down Silva really does have a real shot at beating him.

yeah, obviously roy is going to win in a boxing match. anderson even knows that. he just wants to compare his skills with a master of boxing. mma is a sport where you have to be very good at multiple fighting styles, where boxing you just have to be a master of the boxing art.

anderson silva wants to box roy because it's his idol and he wants to see how he would do. it has nothing to do with prove mma better. anderson was a boxer but nothing great and but realisticly anderson would lose. just like anderson would lose in a jiu-jitsu tournament. mmachamps = the one who combines those sports (and others) best. noone of the mma-champs would win in all or maybe even one of the sports that make up mma. mma= best fighter.. not best boxer, wrestler or jiu-jitsu player.
