What a beautifully written piece. Very moving and sweet. What else was your inspiration? (I love Farscape btw). The sound of this reminds me of the scoring that artist Matthew Barney uses in his films.

i appreicate the kind words. not sure how to effectively comment on the influences that went into the work. It didn't come from specific music so much as musical ideas that i felt were appropriate to the piece. It's a loose chaconne (i love chaconnes). It mixes gregorian chant ideas with bitonality to give it a sense of grace with a tinge of sadness. It uses tall chords (like Debussy or good jazz ballads) to emphasize the beauty of Aeryn's character. That's the big picture overview. :)
