GT5 Speculation: Drag Racing

Drag racing was something that's been mentioned, featured, but never implemented. So with GT5 looming, what are the chances we see drag racing for GT5, and can it be implemented to perfection (or as close to perfect as possible)? See my video and comment. Also, please help me understand drag racing a little more with constructive criticism.
