This is one of my all-time favorite shows...beautiful people, beautiful place, amazing plots...over the short time it was on TV, I developed a love for every character and for Key West itself. I miss this show and Fisher Stevens Quotes at the end. I wish I could remember what he says at the end of the Hurricane Episode. And the Song from that Ep I have never been able to find by Pray for Rain??? Any help....

I agree! I lived there 87-93 and times really have changed. This show is even better to watch now because it takes you to Key West of old, not the commercial tourist trap it has become!

What a great show. under viewed and under appreciated. If anyone is out there from HBO or Showtime series remake should be on your mind. It got a little crazy at the end but that happens when you push the limits. The show about the hurricane hitting the keys is an all time classic.

I lived in key west from 1979-83 and even survived a brutal summer once. This show is not far from the truth! A magical realism prevailed there with the vibes and friendly women and weather and all those characters I met. It WAS like living in a novel. The bar owner even has that local salt-water conch accent down. Sadly it for the rich now, cute and bland. Before it was for everybody as long as you were cool.
