@willyhogg29 If its Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) is rated over 26,000 pounds, you will need one.

@willyhogg29 No. Not if it's non-commercial and fewer than I think 12 passengers. Of course, every state has it's own laws. DOT cops would be the ones who could tell you.
