Steelman Sucker Rods

What is a sucker rod and how do you make a good one? You asked the right guy! Back in 1981 I wrote and produced this sales video for a steel company of good old boys that went belly-up in that recession back then. I got stuck with the bill, so I own this one lock, stock, and barrel. There's no stock footage in this. We actually went to a steel mill in Nebraska to get the these shots. Peter Tours did a great job on camera and the top notch direction was by Mike Lorentz. I listed his is in the "education" category because I learned a hard business lesson about getting the production money in advance.
