  • give s a break, The "debate" that takes place on shows like Oreilly and Rush are a joke. If you dont agree with these guys you are wrong. The yell and get really loud. All the spout is opinion, not facts. BTW, if these guys were in touch with the American Public, why are their ratings falling and why did their candidate get his ass kicked in the last election?

  • I know what you mean with political opinions being used as some type of image rather than an actual thought process, that's why I have a hard time choosing, I will say I do tend to side with Libertarians though, I agree with alot of cons and some libs, but both have strong opinions on some issues I just can't stand by.

  • This man is a war criminal. Does he not understand that u must treat your prisoners as u would hope and expect your own troops would be treated if captured.

  • Politically correct? Are you really talking about Michael Moore? Have you seen his last movie?

  • I agree, you're right. I know there are other people with the teenage angst type of mentality of "if it's government, it's bad no matter which side" - So I don't mean to come off like that, but I'm just so tired of the way both parties have become, there are politicians from both parties that I really like...and really can't stand

  • i think you are more switched on by this wing-nut.

I personally think that "left vs right" is merely like wrestling. at The end of the day its how many tickets you sell not who wins the game. And for all the bitter hatred displayed by politicians, you can see they are all chummy once its over. the real trick for you not to fall for. is "i have no side so...why vote?" I think that is exactly why it is displayed to us as it is. every vote you throw away gives a zealot a greater say:) vote

  • Well, even if I choose for the sake of choosing an ideology, it's still choosing a side with pre-selected ideas and I don't like that. I don't like games when it comes to serious stuff, like, I dunno, running the country. And to me the whole left vs right is some game just to have people argue, I'd like to think as a whole country we could all get together and compromise on what's best instead of reading the headlines "Bush caused 9/11" or "Obama is a terrorist" what kind of propaganda is that?

  • No i can tell, by your use of the word "Baphometreign" and "nazi".

Its not about sides, as i said before, its about ideology. You are either pro or con, an issue, and if you drag yourself away from computer games long enough, you will work out whether you are con or pro on most issues, and which ideology you fall on.

Waving your arms about declaring your beyond both factions is the tedious norm of most generic geeks.

"Spoilt with choice" i think they call it.

  • whatever you wanna call it, just because I don't choose one side over 2, doesn't mean I don't have an opinion, so don't be a choice nazi

  • And there lies the difference between political passion and political apathy.

  • What you say as "not choosing a side", isn't politics.

Its fools trying to wear political opinions like gothic and emo outfits. Its all image.

Everyone is trying to garner new forms of "Individuality", yours is the most common since comedy personalities started getting more political.

And the "With us, or against us" is true. For both sides, you either agree or disagree on an issue.

But its not animosity, it is politics.

So wipe your tears and put your hand up as the liberal you are.
