Santiago, Chile

Santiago, is the capital and largest city of Chile. It is located in the country's central valley, at an elevation of 1700 feet). Although Santiago is the capital, legislative bodies meet in nearby Valparaíso. Approximately two decades of uninterrupted economic growth have transformed Santiago into one of Latin America's most modern metropolitan areas. Santiago, according to an estimate from 2009, has a population of 7 million people.

The video begins at my hotel, the San Cristobal Tower and then continues at the nearby funicular where I ascend the mountain for a nice view of the city. Next we drive through the city center and make a stop at the Plaza Libertad de Prensa.

@teamtiopepe Han pasado ya algunos anos desde que he ido a Cuzco..... ahora hay muchos restaurantes con comida super tipica de esa parte de Peru.... no te olvides de beber el mate de coca (re-bueno), si eres joven hay muchos lugares para que te diviertas por la noche. It's a shame to me to hear the guide you had and the way he speaks about Pinochet; thanks to him Chile is one of the best countries on this part of Southamerica. Of course he made mistakes in human rights but in the overall view of the situation he was good to the country.

On your next visit I recommend you to take some more pedestrians tours instead of buses. You'll get a nicer close up to the city
