Two-Mile Trek to Chiang Rai Waterfall

The two-week medical missions trip is nearly all work and no play. When the choice is between serving another village or taking a day to "see the sights," the choice is easily made. On the eighth day of the trip, however, we were returning home from a village that was only about 2 hours from Chiang Rai. We had an hour or so of extra daylight and some of us had seen a sign pointing to a waterfall. Little did we know that the actual photo-op required more than a two mile walk. Not everyone made it, but those who did enjoyed the cool mist of this "Eden" in the middle of the jungle.
