@WolvesRmine I know right, where are people getting Kopa from. Saying that he died, and then Kiara was born second. Disney just made a mistake. They weren't planning to make another film, and they couldn't change the appearances. They just went with it. They sure would never kill off Simba's cub at the epic ending.

@DjCelsGroupies It doesn't matter much. They probably weren't planning to make a Lion king 2, so they just made the cub kiara anyway.

@velcro62 no really, research the lion king. There are differences between Kiara and the cub they are holding at the end. (black rings on the ears)

@cookie5072 True it doesn't look like Kiara, but it is meant to be her - they only decided to continue the LK story after this film came out, and only decided afterwards that they wanted the cub at the end to be a girl so they could do the "romeo and juliette' story - continuing the Shakespeare inspired plots (the first one being Hamlet). There is and never was any cub called Kopa in the original plot - he was solely created for the books. how do i know this? my father worked on the lion king.

no, the cub that they are holding at the end is Kopa.
Kopa was their first cub, but he died.
This was cut from both movie's.
Kiara was their second cub.
