  • This has to be one of the oldest recordings around? Keep up the good work!

  • @MODTRASH oldest ragtime ? yes !

  • ONly i can say is: great!

If you want, i can upload a video with a ragtime by Jerry Lee Lewis.

  • @RamisAbud1 of course I want !

  • Really enjoyed hearing this song. Such a great history of music. Thank you for posting.

  • I first heard this on an player reed organ and it was so long ago that I hadn't really heard of ragtime. It got stuck in my brain and I thank you for the memory. i wonder if that roll has ever been recorded? It was a masterful little player organ and the roll made the stops go in and out as the rags progressed. What technology our grandfathers possessed!

  • Til Danmark og dansker. "Vi må nu ha en lille" Jei på deg Tomm!

  • @RagtimeDorianHenry When I look at the date of this while hearing such a fine composition, I have to ponder how far music has come. It is inspiring to say the least.. Although, when I pick up my guitar my first inclination is to improvise, I still, am frozen in place when I come across a piece like this. It expresses a lifetime of musical intellect. Someday, I could only hope to piece together such a masterful display of musical know-how.

  • once again well done mr dorian henry:)

  • Absolute Gold RDH...Thanx
