Burnin' and Lootin' Tonight is the blazing story of the London riots, told by the people for the people, using real footage & interviews. Writer Stanley Collins moved to the UK in the 1990s and watched the events unfold literally before his eyes. Realising the importance of these events, he started to record interviews with locals in Hackney where he lives. The story captures the immediate reality of the volatile and powerful situation unravelling at the speed of BBMs. BnLT takes to the city streets to find out why this happened:
how did the youth mobilise so quickly into flash mobs, what was the reasoning behind their resentment & dissatisfaction...

'Tunnel' is the pilot episode for our new series, Burnin' and Lootin' Tonight. Watch the film and write the next chapter, basing it on your experiences in the riots wherever you are in the UK.
