  • @call2see do you mean in terms of number cause that whole be fruitful and multiply thing has cause some problems.

  • This guy represents exactly what I believe he sums it up perfectly

  • @HDaviator If only eh?

  • Well he said it plainly. So why is he still a Christian?

  • religion = population control

  • rational thinker, except for the fact he still believes in something without evidence. If only he would go a little bit further, to not only question religion, but god itself.

  • I find that since I read the book 'Love Wins' by Rob Bell, and started to listen to John Spong, my worldview has been so severely altered, I feel like a different person. My outlook used to be so narrow, so oriented within boundaries, I find now it is all-encompassing, progressive, loving, and accepting.

  • @DeGuerre Right and wrong was never anything else. Only to the narrow-minded, bigoted, self-righteous, holier-than-thou literalists right and wrong means: Do as I say and not as I do.

    I prefer Spong's way. He's honest.

  • @TomFynn To the liberal religious like Spong, "right" and "wrong" is a shorthand for "good for you" and "bad for you" respectively. All philosophy is made up, but some is better for you than others.
