  • One other observation senor astrotrain...does your new camera have an autofocus? It seems oftentimes that when you move things around...it's blurry :(

  • @optibotimus No it doesn't. I thought the added lighting was a bit much, so that might have added to the blurr.

I was also shooting in 30fps...will go up to 60 next time.

  • @Astrotrain52 wow really? Does it have a manual focus at least?

  • @optibotimus Yes, but that's about as focused as it can get. It's the lighting - I think I've found a better way of lighting and it seems to work in my Protector video.

  • @optibotimus Also try viewing in 720p if you haven't.

  • @Astrotrain52 i look forward to the Protector video. My computer automatically plays the highest possible version of videos :P

  • Excellent review. I know it had to break your heart when those spoiler tips broke...

  • @optibotimus my brain immediately processes knock off as the easter basket variety as those are really all I have had exposure too. RTS roddy is indeed cheaper feeling than classics. So far that whole line lacks the heft of previous lines. Even the WFC toys feel a bit dodgier than my earlier classics.

  • I have the battle in space hot rod and it feels like a good figure to me. The plastic is great and it feels wonderful. Cant wait to get my protector armor tommorrow.

  • @DrewsiferXXX I have several knockoffs. The plastic used on the new Hot Rod figure feels cheap and thin. Which is indicative of how KO figures have been made for years. It's expected to feel cheap on a KO because they don't have the same resources...but as much is made by Has/Tak....to use cheaper material and still charge the same price is pathetic

  • @optibotimus it's different plastic for sure. but not so bad as to say knock off. all the new generations/RTS figures seem to be a bit lighter than the 2006 release classics.
