Today I try a homegrown Trinidad Scorpion Morouga Red Chilli.
This was insane, one of the hottest pods I've ever eaten. The second I swallowed it - bang came the heat building on the tongue then moving into the back of the throat. My tongue was on fire and I thought it was going to melt!
Tastewise was a tiny bit fruity and florally, but it quickly disappeared once the heat kicked in.
It's now the day after and I still can't taste anything!
Overall an awesome pod to grow, plants don't produce that many pods but they are big and look fantastic.

Taste 8/10
Heat 12/10

  • You handled that like a boss! This pepper passed the Ghost chile as the worlds hottest pepper. You think it's bad fresh? Try one dried. It's hell. When I tried one fresh the heat just continues to build for 30 minutes straight and it doesn't lower after that it just stays and starts to dissapate after an hour. I started vomiting and had chunks come out my nose. I had never wanted to die more in my life.

  • @kalloused Not good, I have tried these dried too and agree that the heat is more intense due to the higher concentration by volume of capsaisin. I have a homemade powder using butch T, morouga and red 7 pot and it's extremely hot lol

  • whats with the hicups? and how the hell do you still own an arse hole? lol.

  • @tnwellian Hiccups are a reflex reaction by your body to try and get rid of the chilli - quite a few people get them when they eat extremely hot things - including me!

  • Looks like ur suffering much more on this than the other videos I've seen with you? Good job though and obviously you are completely insane....

  • @T1taNo Yes this one hurt a lot, but if you have seen the recent news one of these peppers has been tested at over 2 million SHU so it's not surprising LOL

  • @kalloused SOUNDS LIKE FUN

  • you are one crazy mother fucker

  • Awesome vids Paul! I'm currently growing these, well waiting for germination anyway. when did you plant last seasons scorpions & 7 pots?, keep the vids coming : )

  • @youngunzvt Nevermind, you addressed that in the video.

  • Good job man. Trinidad's and 7 (Jonah) always hit the tongue and throat for me as well. Naga tend to just give me gut rot. How did this compare to the regular Trinidad and 7s that you have had?

  • i had stomach cramps for half a day the day after i ate one yours paul! :)

  • @paulmtonkin I would love to try some of that powder. You grow these yourself right? Do you sell by chance? I've been looking for a place to order some dried Scorpion's and ghost chilles

  • I don't see how you do this. When I chewed up and swallowed a Chocolate Habanero, I thought that a grenade had gone off in my mouth and throat. I can't even envision something that is 2-3 times as hot as what I ate. I must be weired, but Habs seem to bother me more than the ghost chilies. The Oranges are also blisteringly hot. Good job!

  • You could make a Jack O' Lantern from that.
