  • I must tell Jesus all of my problems, I cannot bear these burdens alone, in my distress, He kindly will help me, He ever loves and cares for His own.

  • I just love this lady.... Sarah Jordan Powell

  • Such memories....I, a young teen admiring young Sara Jordan Powell singing in the various churches in Houston, Texas. I don't know what I admired most, her beautiful poise and appearance, her assured messages in song, her gift of singing like the most precious bird from the Kingdom of God, or her very kind and soft "hello"s to me each time she saw me. I always wished I knew what to say to her. She always smiled like she knew the look on my face very well; and would say, "do you want to sing?"

  • @GLacefield I would've started shouting and cuttin up!lol

  • I love Sara Jordan Powell. I will never forget seeing her live. She was always awesome. Upper range was always so clean. Ministry is penetrating. Thank you for posting.

  • Yes it is Sara, she is my godmother

  • @okebaram It's alway's Sara on her albums

  • And she hit it in full voice!

  • Y'all is her first name Sara or Sarah?

  • They were laughing because I got "punk'd." I was in the same age group as the inmates and the guard thought I was one of them trying to escape. Despite all of my efforts to explain that I was part of the recording, the guards would not believe me and would not let me out. It wasn't until I saw them laughing, and the guard bust out in laughter, that I discovered it was all a prank. Later, I had to laugh because it was the perfect set up.
