It may be depressing to most of the viewers but he DID spend the most time with Tsukasa and she was the obvious choice. Sure Aya and Junpei have many things in common, but i just dont see a CLICK there. It would have been no fun watching the anime or reading the manga if it was Aya and not the one he really loved.

In the end, Manaka actually does ask Nishino out and she gladly accepts. For those of you who read the manga, it kind of makes sense since she brings out his best traits and is always there for him. Like Dragon said, she's neither too aggressive nor too shy - the perfect match for Junpei.

Don't get me wrong though, I, too, am an Aya fan and was disappointed . However, Toujou was never able to express her feelings until the very end and unfortunately, it was too late :(

I knew Manaka would pick Nishino all along... Aya was more like a friend and they only liked each other because they had the same goals in life. NISHINO all the way!

@GinSan95 I am affraid that i will have to say that you're wrong. If you read the entire manga you will realize that the only one for him is Nishino. As Jarjar415 says. She's neiter too shy nor too aggresive.

Manaka didn't chose Nishino because he couldn't bear to see her cry, he did it because she was the one he truly loved. He had feelings for Aya yes, but his feelings for Nishino was stronger in the end.

I am a fan of Aya as well. But i realized in the end that Nishino was the only one

@ItzBrenden agree with you. I'm happy Nishino was the one in the end. Honestly, when i read the final chapter. I couldn't help but cry. It is the kind of ending that should be in every manga.
