Aviation Nation 2011 - F-15 and F-16 Air to Air demo. With FLARES!!

Watch as an F-16 aggressor based out of Nellis AFB flies over the base, simulating a ground attack on a base. Then F-15's, also based at Nellis AFB are scrambled to take down the "Migs" in a simulated dog fight. Flare dump at the end was shot on sunday and outside the base. I didn't get a good shot in base on saturday because it was too far from show center, plus the flares on sunday were way better too!

Good lord lookit the size difference! And gosh it was nice to see a little game of cat and mouse for once at a show! Oh man @3:30 when the F-15 climbed... mmmm that was sweet. Thanks for the vid!!

Best air to air demo I've seen was many years ago off the USS Enterprise.

A mock attack staged by a RA-5 Vigilante with 2 F-4 Phantoms in VERY hot pursuit. With North Vegas all around this base, hard to really have the F-15's really get after the bad guys. Nice idea for the show though, and thanks for posting this great video. Means a lot to us guys who could not make the show.
