(No sound!)
Bara, my blue-tongued skink.

He absolutely loves blueberries, so sometimes I finish off his meal with a dessert of his favorite sweet treat. It's too bad my camera can only record 30 seconds, he devoured the rest of those quickly. And he even had a hiccup near the end! Don't mind the dirty sides of the cage, he loves to rub against the glass around his food dish.

His cage sides are dirty there because he likes to rub and stand up against the glass after his meals.

The bump on his back is from a calcium defency he suffered when he was younger. Anyone wanting to get a reptile should read up on them or preferably talk to a reptile vet or owner first.

  • I am one and it's been 4 months. How do I know when it's An adult??? Mine is a foot long now n

  • @95blckfirebird1 Chances are google could provide better answers than anyone on youtube, but I'd say if you have a skink that is over a foot long it's an adult. I'm not sure exactly how old it is though as there are a lot of factors that go into that as well. Best bet is to ask an expert, do more research, or take him to a reptile veterinarian.

  • @greekyoshi I tried to kiss my skink once. It didn't feel so well about it, so it bit me.

  • see that's why its tongue is blue what a reasonable answer

  • @warlock1ful Monitor lizards cannot really be tamed all that well. However, BTS don't bite unless they are provoked. They will huff (push air out through their nose, possibly opening their mouth a bit, and their sides expand and retract), and sometimes hiss (open their mouth wide, display their wide tongue and hiss) before they will bite. Just be careful not to provoke them.

  • do they bite?? i have a bearded dragon and they are cool but he looks like he would bite?? oh and can moniter lizards be tamed??
