@warlock1ful Monitor lizards cannot really be tamed all that well. However, BTS don't bite unless they are provoked. They will huff (push air out through their nose, possibly opening their mouth a bit, and their sides expand and retract), and sometimes hiss (open their mouth wide, display their wide tongue and hiss) before they will bite. Just be careful not to provoke them.

@95blckfirebird1 Chances are google could provide better answers than anyone on youtube, but I'd say if you have a skink that is over a foot long it's an adult. I'm not sure exactly how old it is though as there are a lot of factors that go into that as well. Best bet is to ask an expert, do more research, or take him to a reptile veterinarian.
