You really care about us diehard adventure gamers.

I noticed the return of the bubble helmet.
I thought (a long time ago (and after seeing the VGA remake of SQ1) that it might be cool to remake the other games in the series based on other eras of sci-fi. For instance, while SQ1 represented 50-60ish sci-fi, SQ2 could be based on 70's style sets. Think Space: 1999. (white sets, tinted panels, magnetic data tapes, and oscilloscopes). Space Quest III, likewise could represent the more "modern" 80's. (LCD & LED digital displays (Knight Rider set)

I still have the comic that came with Space Quest 2 when it came out. The manuals that Sierra used to make put the modern ones to shame! I've kept all the old manuals to this day.

Two words:
GOD. YES.

@JBroomie Still cleaning up?

I am looking forward to this hard core. I had this game back in the day, but the last disk was faulty, and I never had a chance to complete it. Now with this remake, I will enjoy it all over again... but like never before!

Isn't some of the music from the 1955 giant monster movie "Tarantula"? The style of this trailer certainly mimics the film trailer in a good way.

@PolizeiPaul Who? Activision? IA? AGDI? Hell, Magic Mirror or Telltale? I know there's been a Police Quest 2 remake bandied about, but if anything will ever happen with it, who knows?

This game better be out already!

Why the hell don't they remake the PoliceQuest 1-4 series and original S.W.A.T. for the PS3?
Thanks Gangularis.
Yeah, we had planned to release it in March but our lead programmer decided to get married and it's delayed the game quite a bit. It's pretty much complete with just a few things needed cleaning up but it is coming soon, don't worry.

Wow, really awesome. I'm looking forward to this game - although I didn't see any GUIs yet.
Also, why are you doing 32bit? You could easily still transform it into a REAL VGA game!

Thanks. The GUI's are the same from Space Quest 1 VGA and 4. It just seemed better that way, more Space Quest like.
And 32 bit allows our artists the freedom to make the intended background without any limits or hassles. Having only 256 colors to choose from would make it very difficult for our artists and each background would need more time than necessary when we can get fantastic and quicker results using the full palette but still maintain that VGA look. :)
