No one ever brought up this MAJOR POINT! James Arness plays and FBI AGENT--this is could be thought of as the FIRST X-files esp! The X-files of TV was a series of humor (at least to me) and the best example was when they did a "COPS" esp in the X-files---total humor and always wondered why they never tied in "THEM" with the show--then there is also The Night Stalker series they could have ref to in X-files--oh well, still think with Arness as an FBI agent this is the First X-files show!
