Tamura sensei usually visits Holland at the end of March (21 and 22 in 2009) for a two-day seminar. They are held at Papendal (near Arnhem), where there are plenty of facilities to stay overnight, if you live far away or abroad.
Also, regarding the translation: they are provided by Tessa Huiskamp, chairperson of the Aikido-branch of the Dutch Judo Foundation (Judo, Jiu Jitsu and Aikido). Her translations are quite good.
Yahoo Papendal! I was there on April 14th (yes I'm Dutch, I don't know why I'm typing in English, ach wij Nederlanders sporen allemaal niet, of ik ben de enige ;)) I loved that training, I wanna go to more trainings of Tamura sensei. Does anyone know when he'll be in Holland again? Or I'll just travel all the way to French. See ya!
"Now, Sensei's supple, and that's what makes it difficult ... If you make an attack and use alot of force, you make it easier" (to let the other guy apply a technique... i suppose)(at 17-25 seconds)
"This is hard" (what he's demonstrating right then) (at 32 seconds)
"And now you see the strike where that relaxation is important" (at 53 seconds)
I was there... The woman's voice is the translator, but because the sound level is a bit low, I don't know whether these are accurate translations or not...
I'll try to translate most of what she's saying...
