At the Texas Mile, October 2010, Bill Warner of Wild Bros Racing goes 278.6 mph in a standing start mile, on a 650rwhp turbo charged Suzuki Hayabusa Streetbike. On board video taken facing rearward using an AiM Sports SmartyCam with in-video display of GPS speed. (sample rate of the in camera GPS does not allow recording of the top speed that was set in the timing traps)

  • Hell, that thing was like I got at least another 40-50MPH to go sucka

  • @rau5150 sadly its true, the vast majority of noobtube videos show 1500 hp cars, and 200 mph rides, but realistically, if you ride a bike you gotta watch out for potholes, idiots in cars, diesel spills, and countless other things that might kill you, real world riding is vastly different to tube riding, amazing bike btw.

  • So this guy is doing 250 mph in reverse? That's crazy!

  • It feels like nothing to do 100mph on a bike. Then you hit 150mph and you are like holy fuck. I could not imagine another 100mph. Two words for you man...FUCK THAT! Seriously I'm surprised your balls fit on the bike...

  • Umm... I wouldn't never want to ride that FUCK THAT bike

  • @ishTVRZ bike, check you local dealer... for the mods... be a local dealer because they would cost 13 arms

  • Just imagine if this video showed it racing against a Agera R, Alpha 12 GTR, and Race Package Gallardo....

The Gallardo would hang with it but only for a little bit then slowly fade back, the GTR even worse, the Agera R would be a speck of a pixle... haha

  • @ku420guy That was the Goliad airstrip they now moved to the Beeville airstrip i looks a bit better except for the first huge bump @ just before the 1/4 mile.

  • awesome run. but that track looks to beat up to even be open. will they ever resurface it? or is there a sanctioning body for mile racing?even the car runs look crazy

  • Stuck for what to write here... one its not fair that he was doing that on my birthday, two, that bike just changed gear at the point the best supercars top out

  • @TimpBizkit The only thing it ran out of was the mile. It's the Texas Mile, he let off after he passed the mile limit. Drivers go there to see the top speed they can hit in one mile.

  • Wow. To ride that fast going forward is impressive enough, bravo.
