You've read "OSX: The Missing Manual," by David Pogue? Or seen hundreds if how-to videos on Mountain Lion? Don't confuse familiar with intuitive. Most regular Mac folks don't use LaunchPad, Expose, Spaces or a dozen other features. They are neither intuitive nor obvious. No operating system is.

You should have mentioned zooming out in the "all apps" screen and maybe that it's available in many apps.

Also, pinning shortcuts like "computer" to the start screen.

Windows is a proven OS, Microsoft does not need to pay anyone anything for this. Win8 is just like WinXP to Win98, I'm liking it more than Win7 & Its my personal opinion.

I don't understand why people are so scared with Windows 8.

Don't go with these type of reviews, people who are afraid of change and in their comfort zone, will not accept any change. Use it for a while and you will really love it :)

Believe me guys, its very different, with lot of changes, fast boot, lot of apps, SkyDrive sync, more intuitive.

Start button is now a Start screen, not a Giant button. Finding any program is more faster, just go to Start and start typing the program name...

I wonder how many of those claiming Win8 is "lightning fast" are just comparing their old Win7 or XP machines with the shiny new one they just bought... or, a bit less likely but just as bogus, comparing Win8's speed to the the age-degraded performance of the same PC just before wiping it for the upgrade. My 9-month-old Win7 PC feels just as fast as the in-store Win8 PCs I've seen & sampled.

I used Driver Fusion to completely uninstall my drivers. Now Windows 8 is working perfectly. Loving this OS! Why is everyone complaining....
