On May 6, 2007, Sara Carlin, a beautiful 18-year-old girl with everything to live for, grabbed a piece of electrical wiring, fashioned a crude noose and hanged herself in the basement of her parents house while under the influence of the antidepressant drug Paxil (Seroxat in the UK). Paxil/Seroxat is an antidepressant documented by international drug regulatory agencies as causing worsening depression and suicide particularly in children and young adults.

Please help inform others of the risks of these drugs. Forward this video to everyone you know.

I was told this drug would be able to treat my condition..the majority of the info I have gathered on this drug SCARES me. I am desperate to figure out how to get by in this world and be a happy, self sufficient person, and find a beautiful woman inside and out who I love, to spend my life with. I left the medical office with some hope for my future. I am glad I did the research on this drug. Thank you for the warning and I wish you all the best. I hope this poor girl is at peace now.

Anti-depressants like these are responsible for more deaths than you might think. Dylan Clebold and Eric Harris were both on a variety of anit-depressants when they went on the columbine school shootings. Of course the media blamed music, media, etc. to protect their corporate advertisers from the fallout of their drugs causing the deaths of innocent people.

I did a suicide attempt with 100 pills of paroxetine and a bottle of malibu once.

I did that in the evening and then went to bed.

I was vomiting all night.

In the morning i realised what i had done, paniced and dialed emergency hotline, telling i did a suicide attempt.

Ambulance came and brought me to the hospital, there i had a checkup, nothing was wrong.

Then they took me to a psychiatric hospital, one week on a secluded department and one week on an open department

I am so sorry for this horrible loss. I have a petition to Ban Paxil as I believe it is a very dangerous drug. Please help prevent anymore tragedies from happening by using the google search engine, type in Ban Paxil and sign the petition. No one else should be hurt by this drug.
