The beauty of this movie does not come from the accuracy of the event that took place, or the performance of the actor portraying John. It comes from the fact that the film was shot at actual localities in Liverpool which are historic. That was aunt Mimi's house, John's room, the school, the church. That makes it a very interesting film. Even one of John's band members is a musician currently playing ath the Cavern. That's really good for this film.
