lean more forward intead of falling back...

Got some pucks do ya!?

Heres a tip I tell everyone. Never lift your back foot when shooting. you make yourself offbalance and you lose power to your shoot. This should help you a lot.
-
your 5 feet away from the net, youll never get a slapshot from there..and you lean way to much over your stick.
-
bend your knees more instead of leaning from the waist so much. it puts you off balance
when youn stickhandle roll your wrists more so its not so much chop chop chop. i might help if you put wd40 on your skillpad because it looks like the puck is rolling around a lot
dont stickhandle so much before you shoot. its a bad habit and youll find yourself doing it in games
hope this helped

will create video responce to your problem

for the wrist shots try having the blade of the stick a little farther back and shooting the puck off the middle part of the blade. also drive your body to the net and rotate your wrists. for slap shots have the puck near the foot nearest to the goal and put your stick not the whole way upwards try to keep the blade higher than having the stick straight. when you come in contact w/ the puck have the blade hit the ground 10-6inchs behind the puck aslo drive hips legs arms and shoulder toward net

To shoot better dont be a such a duster

@MrNjdevilsfan30 amazingly, no haha. apparently, my knee cap is misshapen, so that it slides around too much. so i was throwing a ball on halloween 2009 (it was raining here in jersey) and i lifted my left leg to step into the throw, and while my leg was in the air, the knee cap dislocated itself. completely bizarre, i was on crutches for 2 weeks, then had 6 months of pt (shoulda taken 4-8 weeks, but i got lazy and didnt do the home excercises) and the doctors kept me from skating for 6 months

@jasontackett17 yeah. this was my first time shooting in a while, and for some reason i shoot differently on ice and shooting pad. on ice i do a full wrist shot, and now im hitting top shot every time. thanks for your comment
