@yaku3 also the ps3 came out with it after the 360 so they could improve, if the 360 came out with another star ocean they could easily top the ps3 version

I've never played this game before, but it looks fun. Is the melee attacker the main character? Do you switch back and forth to whatever character you want to play?

Yeah, dude, why don't you just reply to a comment that's over a year old. Information was released AFTER I made the comment. At the time, they said they had no plans for a PS3 version.

The release dates has been confirmed.
Japan on Feb 4 2010
NA on Feb 9 2010
EU and rest of the world on Feb 12 2010
New characters are confirmed. We haven't seen them yet but I guess we'll find that out later in the month like with TOV. You will also now pilot Calnus (spaceship) which you couldn't in the 360 version which was limited of space.
