Princess Tutu Act 23 - Ruslan and Ludmilla - (The Writing Rescue Scene)

.....I just love this whole scene. It's one of my favorites in the whole Princess Tutu series and so I decided I wanted to upload the DVD quality version. I'm glad Uzura is in this scene too, cause she's just so adorable! XD And I absolutely ADORE the background music here, which is an instrumental/orchestra piece that bears the title of this Act (Ruslan and Ludmilla...I think it's Russian?)

So why the Japanese version of the audio? Because I like those voices better, no offense. XD Sakurai Takahiro as Fakir just rocks my socks, because he's one of my favorite Japanese VAs. ^_^

Anyway, sorry this isn't an AMV. ^^; I just had to upload this scene. Enjoy!

I looove this scene! One of my favs, too.

The version I have, when Fakir shouts, "AHIRRUUUUUU!" he spits everywhere. O_o; Looks like they clean him up later lol.

I actually played Ruslan and Lyudmilla in my Orchestra this year for competition. When I heard it playing in Princess Tutu with this scene, I was so ecstatic I'm sure anyone would have thought I was mentally unstable. I couldn't stop grinning like an idiot. :D The frantic joyousness of the music with the pure, fervent emotion of the scene really makes this a beauty of a moment. ^^

Best line that was never in this story was "The Princess picked the Knight?! No! The Writer?!"

Then the old fart at the end of the clip would have said "Oh damn it!"

And we all would have been "THANK YOU!!!!"

You are my hero!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is one of my favorite scenes and I cant find any of the japanese version anywhere. I agree the BG music is magnificent. But this made my day thank you for putting this up =3

Pendant-induced transformations aside, she's a duck. Period. It's right in her name. The anime is quite clear on that being what she really is.
