Tommy is a great mentor. I love his methods of teaching. It's simplified, but very detailed. I could buy every one of his DVDs and not regret it.

Isn't Tommy more or less playing to Fusion and not Hip-Hop or R&B?

i'm not ready to play this groove yet but what he does at 4:16 with his hihat is just genius(like pretty much everything in here) and it's an easy trick to put a little more variety in your playing while still keeping the groove... that's something i can work with... thanks tommy for being so awesome

I would have no problem playing this, but i would never know where i am with the counting :P That's kind of my problem. it's easy for me to imitate someone, but i don't always know how to count i :S
